This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. I had it under HP's insurance for 2 years, which expired on the 18th of this month. Do I need a new antivirus or can reinstall avast or continue use microsoft security essentials? Please use the same method to disable other hardware: Display adapter, Modem, network adapter, CD-R drive. Note: The display resolution will be changed after disabling the display adapter.  Then, restart your computer. The only difference in windbg is the faulting moduale is narrowed down as ntkrnlmp.exe (NT Kernal for multi processors) But it is definatly a driver fault. The last software I had installed was Skype, but that was before the day of the first BSOD.
