If you remove the DVD (still same bot order) and restart computer it boots from harddisk? Same thing happened with the recovery dvd. If I click repair computer it used to give me all the options but none of them worked and now it just switches to the purple background and stays there. Am curious as to what the exact problem really is, but not enough to hunt it down. (Curious too about who to blame. have a peek here
